Pick up a digital Destiny PS3 or Xbox 360 version and you can get the digital version of the same console family for free. Bungie announced the limited time digital upgrade program for those who plan to purchase Destiny. From now until January 15 if you purchase the game's last-gen digital version you can upgrade the game to next-gen version for free.


If you are interested and buy the game (PS3 or Xbox 360) before January 15, you can simply log into your PS4 or Xbox One and add the next-gen version of the game to your cart and start the download. Destiny data (character, progress and gear) is shared within the same console family so you don't need to worry about data transfer.
