Hi Everyone!
 
Before anyone asks.. The following change WAS NOT made as an incentive for donations. It actually has nothing to do with donations at all, but member/site security and anonymity.
 
As some of you probably already figured out, members now have limited access to the peer list on the torrent's detail page as well as our Uploader's status. We've been saying that we would ensure our member's security and anonymity and that we were going to be making some more improvements in this area and we have.
 
What some of you may already know is that once you've donated, your possible legal actions become restricted, meaning those that have donated can not pursue the site or any of our members, especially our uploaders and why we're able to allow some members more access in areas than others.
 
Power Users and below - can see anonymous peer list and anonymous uploader status, but you can still see a client list on the peer listing. This will 'possibly' change in the near future to allow PU to see account names, but no links to account. DO NOT ask!
 
VIP and above - can see complete peer list with names/links if needed for reporting purposes and uploader status
 
Uploaders can make themselves known on their own torrents if they want to at their own risk, but we as a site will protect them to our fullest capabilities.
 
This change comes as a way of saying thank you, part of our annual site restructuring, and to show that your security and anonymity is the most important thing to us.
