This is a tough question because I have so many games that I play on a daily basis. I would break it down between my favorite single player and multiplayer experience. Without a doubt the most engrossing single player is the Elder Scrolls series. I love the world and lore and exploring every a nook and cranny of it. For multiplayer, nothing for me beats Counter Strike with its focus on team tactics and skill over run and gun.
