Uploading Rules - Torrents violating these rules may be deleted without notice



General:
◾Uploading anything in violation of these rules will result in a warning - and if repeated, banning - by staff.
◾All uploads MUST include a proper description of the upload contents.
◾Make sure your torrents are well-seeded for at least 24 hours.
◾Make sure the torrent you are uploading is not a duplicate
◾Different versions of files currently on the tracker are allowed
◾Do not upload more than you or your internet connection can handle. If your upload speed is limited do not try to seed more than one upload at a time. Also important: if your bandwidth is limited do not download if you are the uploader of a torrent. These are very important considerations for the impact your actions have on those leeching your upload.
◾If you have ISP limitations or other circumstances that will limit or interrupt the seeding speeds on your uploads, as a courtesy please note this as part of your uploader comments.
◾If you want to upload something interesting that somehow violates these rules, then just ask the staff and an exception might be made.
◾Before filling any request, you must search for Dead torrents. If the one you are wanting to do is here on the site and dead for 90 days or less, a reseed request must be sent out first. If nobody reseeds in 3 days then a new upload can be provided to replace the dead torrent. If there are any questions concerning differences of the torrent and pending request, please submit a support ticket."

Movie Uploads:
◾Only the following content is allowed to be uploaded: 
◾Retail DVD-Videos
◾Retail Blu-rays (Untouched and unmodified, with the exception of custom subtitles)
◾Retail BD/DVD covers and/or BD/DVD art (300 DPI or better)
◾OST music CDs
◾3D Blu-rays must be uploaded as ISO's. [This applies only to 3D Blu-rays]
◾VHS or Laser Disc to DVD uploads of anything that has never been released to DVD can be allowed in the Low Quality section per approval of staff. Before uploading, please include the IMDB and the original source (VHS or Laserdisc) in the proper forum "DVD Upload Offers."
◾Torrents should have copy protection, region coding, and other security measures removed. An example would be the Advanced Access Content System (AACS) copy guard protection.


◾ All uploads must follow proper title format rules
◾TITLE | YEAR | DVD5/9 | NTSC/PAL | COUNTRY
◾TITLE | YEAR | BD25/50 | MPEG-2/VC-1/AVC | COUNTRY
◾Note that the first format is for DVD uploads and the second is for BD uploads. Please consult a MediaInfo program or other reliable file information source if you are unsure of the encoding.
◾his will be auto-generated using the terms specified in the various fields in the upload form. Only input the requested information, and adhere to the terms below.
◾Do not include terms such as "Special Edition," "Director's Cut," or other terms in the title field. Only list the film title.
◾You may include the Volume number in the title field if a series, or Disc number if a part of a multi-disc set.
◾Director names may be optionally included in the title in the form "Director's Movie"
◾Collections such as [Criterion / Masters of Cinema / Warner Archive] can be tagged on the end.
◾Cover Images (inputted in the Cover/Poster URL field in the upload form) should be a reasonable size, ~800 pixels wide and ~500 KB large.
◾If a high-resolution cover is to be provided, please do so in the form of a image link in the description. Do not place the actual image on the torrent page if it is high resolution.
◾All uploads MUST include a proper summary in the description with a synopsis of the content of the movie.
◾All uploads should include relevant technical information about the film, including proper technical details of disc format and data specifications.
◾Blu-ray uploads must include comprehensive readouts from MediaInfo or BDInfo
◾At least two screenshots / captures are optional, but highly recommended.
◾BD screenshots (1920x1080) should be in the form of a thumbnailed link to a PNG original. A thumbnail version of the screenshot should be placed in the text field, linked to the externally-hosted full-size image. DO NOT directly place full-size images in the description, especially if they are multi-MB shots. Please be considerate and conserve page load times.



Movie Packs
◾Movie packs are allowed if they have a logical and reasonable relationship to one another, for example official box sets, movies by the same star or director, same genre, etc.
◾Groups of movies just 'thrown together' are not allowed.
◾It is recommended that you first ask staff to review and agree with your proposed upload. Please use the Support Ticket functionality.
