"Fellow RFM members,

Now that our favorite motorsport series are on a winterbreak, what should we do to get our motorracing fix during the winter? There is a large group of members who will download and watch season reviews and/or classic races, and there's also a group of members that sit on their couches and cry and mope until the new season kicks off again..... (me being one of them tongue )

But did you know there's enough to look forward to?


:: Formula E // December 2nd 2017 - July 29th 2018 ::

There is a whole new season of Formula E around the corner. Yes they are fully electrical, but they're lean mean fighting machines, driven by some of the best drivers we know from our favorite motorsports series or drivers who have proven themselves in the past and are now driving the fastest cars available in the winter.

Lucas di Grassi, Kamui Kobayashi, Sam Bird, Neel Jani, Nelson Piquet Jr, Nick Heidfeld, Luca Filippi, Sebastian Buemi, Jean-Eric Vergne, Andre Lotterer and Edoardo Mortara (to name a few) will compete for the 2017-2018 Formula E title!


:: Dakar Rally // January 6 - 20, 2018 ::

Everybody has heard of the Dakar rally. One of the toughest test in the world for man and machine. Formerly known as the "Paris-Dakar rally", they moved from the desert of Africa to the sandy- and rocky conditions of South America in 2009. This year embarks the 40th edition of the Dakar rally and it hasn't gotten any easier over the years.

Three categories move across the landscapes of Peru, Bolivia and Argentina; Cars, motorcycles and trucks. It's a great ordeal for any of these type of machinery to get to the end, not to mention the toll it will ask from all the drivers and riders trying to reach the finish.

This is a great way to fill your motorsport agenda for a full two weeks, a huge oppertunity to get your motorsports fix!


:: Race of Champions // February 2 - 3, 2018 ::

The best of the best from different motorsports categories will compete head-to-head in all kinds of awesome cars in an indoor arena. The RoC will provide great entertainment for everyone who likes motorracing and is in for an evening packed with racing.

Confirmed drivers as of writing are; Juan Pablo Montoya, Tom Kristensen, Petter Solberg, David Coulthard and Lando Norris. But more greats of the world of motorsports will be announced shortly and compete in the Race of Champions. Don't be the one that misses out on this awesome event!


And it doesn't need to be said, but all of these events will be covered by our dedicated RFM community. There is no need to crawl away in a corner for the next three months, there's plenty to see for all you petrol-heads.
