[Important!!!] DT Tracker change


Dear DTians,

As you know we have been extremely successful in relaunching the site with numerous releases. We are growing exponentially in popularity daily. As a result we have and are being attacked more and more from various sources. This involves Denial of Service attacks which can take down both the site and the tracker.

To protect all users, and provide uninterrupted quality service, we have transitioned to a very robust infrastructure that can withstand such attacks. However as a result we had to change the tracker to add this layer of protection.

Here are the unfortunate consequences. All the older torrents uploaded till now will not work and will have to be re-uploaded. DTOne group will re-upload all their torrents and we will co-ordinate with all release groups to do the same. We request all individual uploaders to do the same. Users will just have to re-download the new torrent and it should start seeding the already downloaded file. Make sure you do not delete the already downloaded files. If you have any questions please direct to the Staff via PM or on the Chatbox.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but this is the best way forward to ensure stability and continuation of service to all our users.
