We noticed lately that several reposts on the site are retagged (for example: BeyondHD in BHD).

Some trackers require this to be done because they do not want to see the name of another tracker in the list of their torrents.

This is of course not allowed on HD-F because it is due retag / detag, which is strictly prohibited.

My personal opinion (and that of the staff as a whole) is that if we want the releases made by the team of another tracker we must respect their tag and if the tag includes the name of the site so be it...

We will redouble our vigilance on this point and be more firm in case of reposted detag / retag.

Although the uploader is not necessarily at the origin of the detag / retag he is responsible for what he uploads.

From now on if you upload a detag / retag you will receive a PM from the staff to report it to you and the torrent will be deleted immediately.

A staff note will be added to your account and in case of repetition your upload rights will be removed.

Some members will find that it is a bit extreme as rule / reaction but we remind you that you are responsible for what you post on the site (it lies with you to make sure that the torrent respects the totality of the rules of the site).

I think HD-F has a pretty good reputation for seriousness and we expect it to continue.
