A message for our Canadian members...

I have today received several messages from members saying that the site is down for them and that they get a 522 error at sign-in.

This appears to be a network routing problem. It is possibly due to overwhelmed network blocks limiting traffic. So far all the members affected have been Canadian so we think that it is a geographical issue that will resolve itself (hopefully soon).

There is unfortunately nothing that we can do to hasten the process as it is not coming from our end. I have been informed however, that it is possible to connect using a VPN directed to a European server.

Note that this is not affecting all Canadian ISPs, only a few.
