Holiday 2020 Update

Happy holidays, everyone!

We have some major presents to deliver this week to your digital stockings. Starting off, Wii is now safe. Also, if you look at the safe console List, you'll see that Xbox 360 and PS3 have been removed, along with the entirety of Gen 8.

What does that mean for the site? Well, as detailed in the safe year rules, the safe year now covers consoles not covered by the safe console list, which means that, yes, games released for Xbox 360 and PS3 within the current safe year are now safe to upload!

The final big bow gift to complete this trifecta?
The safe year has been bumped again to 2007!

P.S. The safe year for non-gaming applications has been bumped to 2000 as well.
