Members of the Fleet,

Requesting on NBL isn't a given right, it is a privilege that is often sadly abused. So to counter said abuse from hereon-in any new Season torrents requested will have their account checked by staff. If you are found to be an abuser of the request system, you will find your request privileges revoked, indefinitely.

Our reasoning being that you wanted a torrent that wasn't available on NBL, and you decided to request it. Someone puts in time and effort to fill your request, and after X amount of days/months you let it die. It didn't occur to you that someone else farther on down the line may want the same torrent that you requested.

Season torrent requests will now be deemed to be adoptable by the requester.
This rule update will not apply to Episode torrents.

This means the onus is now on you the requester to seed your filled request for perpetuity.
If you can't or won't do this, the solution is easy.

Do not request, period.
