MySpleen chat is now available on Matrix!

For those of you that have been looking for a better mobile and persistent chat experience, we now have a presence on Matrix. Most of you may be wondering what Matrix is. Matrix is an open, decentralized, and federated communications network. Matrix was established in 2014 and has amassed over 35 million users in that time. Our presence on Matrix is also bridged to IRC in a clean and correct way.

Just like IRC, Matrix has many clients. The most commonly used client, available on Android, Apple, Linux, and Windows is Element (https://element.io). However there are many others (https://matrix.org/clients/). To join, register an account on any Matrix server such as the default Element server, and just head over to the room at #myspleen:dejatoons.net or click https://matrix.to/#/#myspleen:dejatoons.net and you will be connected. Dejatoons and MySpleen staff will be available to help if you should need it either on #myspleen:dejatoons.net or #help:dejatoons.net.

If we can get 100 simultaneous users in the channel, then we will have freeleech.
