From now on, users are supposed to receive points & spare points as per given specifics on code. We need to mention, the earning system of points hasn't been changed, only the codes have been altered for more precise measurements. What drastically is changed now, is the point deduction system upon downloading.

Short Summery: Before recent implementation, point deduction used to be in linear in relation with size of the torrent. But now we introduced two more variables into it - No of Snatches & 2. Seeding percentage. The main reason to do so is to ensure uniform flow of user privileges among all user classes based on points.

With the earlier linear relation in deduction system, users with higher snatched torrents didn't have to seed most of their torrents. A certain number of seeding torrents could fill up the lacks of points & so, we were low on peer counts & seed per torrent. But with the current system, the deduction rate varies on those two variables. An user with higher number of snatches has to pay more than an user with lesser number of snatches - for downloading the same torrent. The opposite goes for percentage seeding.

The point system is merely a tax system. If an user has greater number of snatches, he is capable of earning more points faster, so he is potentially rich on points. And for an user with lesser snatches, he isn't capable of earning points that faster, so he is comparatively poor on points. So like tax system, the rich pay tax higher than the poor. Keeping this as principle, we have designed the point system such way that, if percentage seeding is minimal 100%, an user will earn enough points to download 6 new albums each day. This is generous that most other private music trackers.

The ratio on this site doesn't have effect on anything anymore. The ratio system is been entirely replaced with point system. In header section, the ratio, it's just a representation of how good you are doing.

As promised earlier, we have awarded 15 points per upload (in any group of FLAC/MP3/AAC) plus an incentive of +200 Points to all members of SCD.

60 Torrent Groups have been made FreeLeech. Newcomers are supposed to leech them after joining & seed them to earn points
