TRACKER DESCRIPTION

Ourbits is a fantastic Chinese HD tracker .

Search through anime, concerts, documentaries, episodes, movies, music, sports and TV. Ourbits has a number of internal encoders that offer frequent freeleech so you don't have to worry too much about ratio. Torrents are split up in to 100% freeleech, 50% freeleech and no freeleech/normal.

All new members are required to pass the newbie exam. This involves uploading 30gb, downloading 30gb and earning 6666 bonus points. I recommend downloading one or two 50% freeleech torrents to count towards your download and a few complete freeleech to count towards your upload and points. Leave them running in your client and you should clear this exam in under the 30 day exam period. It's not hard nor is it impossible, if you don't want to waste time doing an exam you can always donate and be exempt of this.

Uploading is restricted for any user class below power user and requires you to use the offers section. This isn't any different to the bigger trackers where new uploaders are voted in. For a upload to be approved it must receive 15 positive votes, once approved the torrent must be uploaded within 48 hours before the privilege is revoked. For offers who do not receive the required 15 votes, the offer is deleted after a 72 hour period.

With each seeded torrent you will receive one bonus point. If you seed a torrent with lower seed numbers and a larger file, you generally do receive more points with donors getting double points (x2) whilst seeding. Bonus points can be spent on the usual upload credit, custom titles and VIP status. A cool feature I have noticed is you can also donate points to the community for those under a specific ratio amount, no need for a username it applies to any member under that specific ratio but with at least 10gb uploaded. If all the other goodies are of no interest to you then points can also be spent on ad removal for around 7 days.
