Omarion Welcomes Baby Boy

Start sending Omarion some blue baby gifts. It's a boy for the singer and his girlfriend Apryl Jones. He revealed the baby news on his Instagram account, giving his followers a first look at their son, Megaa Omari Grandberry.

 

"World. Allow me to introduce. MEGAA OMARI GRANDBERRY. He is 7 pounds. 4oz & 20 inches long. My son I've been waiting on you God is the realist!! I witnessed a miracle. My soul mate @aprylsjones is so strong!" the former B2K singer wrote on social media. The photo attached to the lengthy post featured the baby boy being held by his proud dad.

He continued, "Not only did she have a un medicated birth (no drugs) she did it at home. Naturally. Just like my mom had me. I love you. thank you for having my legacy. I'll forever belong to you & you will forever be tied to me. Creating a child takes no love or skill but being a parent requires lots of both. This is the first child for the couple. 

In addition to fatherhood, the 29-year-old singer is also looking to drop new music. After teaming up with Rick Ross's Maybach Music Group in 2012, he plans to release his next album "Sex Playlist." The album has yet to have a firm release date, but he spoke a bit more about it earlier this year.

"I'm in this really good place of self-discovery and self-knowledge," Omarion told Billboard. "I've had the bittersweet feeling of growing up in front of the public, so it's hard for them to allow me to grow up. But this album is a real maturation from my previous work."

He added, "This album is all me. We've been thinking about some features, and we're in the fourth quarter of changing up and maybe putting some of the family members on there, but this is so important to me. Although it's been some time since I've put out an album, I always put my best foot forward in my music. When people hear this album, people will say, 'Omarion, we know you're on MMG, but you're doing your own thing as well.'"
