Many users find themselves in the position of needing to keep torrents seeded and wanting to download more that what their ISP really likes And given the recent Snowden leaks etc we can all see that our privacy online is slowly getting more and more eroded so we have to take steps to keep flying the flag:

Lots of people feel confused about what the right choice is, so let's look at how we simplify that choice. To help that along, we're going to be very politically incorrect and catagoize/box peeps up.

Box one, the "have bandwidths" lots of people out there have plenty of up and download speed anything over 10/10 M lines is plenty to torrent successfully with. For these people a VPN from a quality provider like AirVPN or Mullvad are more than enough to keep ontop of their up/download needs.

Box two, the "have little bandwidths" there are a lot of us out there with little to very little bandwidth, where I currently am it is not uncommon to have a 2M line with a monthly 10Gb traffic cap on it. Lots of people in rural areas or more developing countries have been left out in terms of available bandwidth. For many of them a smaller seedbox is an obvious choice. 100/100 U/D seedboxes on shared connections with unlimited traffic and 2-500 Gig of storage cost from around 12 USD to 25 USD per month which is not that much for the extra punch you get and with Sftp (S meaning safe or encrypted) access to file transfers your privacy is pretty well protected. You just leave you PC running to grab files down from your seedbox and once ratio passes whatever you want it to pass you just delete the torrent. (Keep files on your home pc so you can reseed if needed).

Box three, the "I need a bigger epenis" lots of us like to be able to grab stuff NOW!!! Or get ratios over 20 in a few hours. For us there is no choice but the biggest baddest boxes out there, maybe even a dedicated server instead of your average seedbox. Well for us it is a must have no matter what! For us Aireservers (ABT's excellent partner) and Feral hosting are pretty decent choices if we don't have the luck and savy to rent boxes directly from OVH or Online.net.
