Xiaomi’s Mi Power Banks now up for pre-order on Flipkart

After the successful launch of Mi 3 in India, Xioami’s Power Banks are up for pre-order on Flipkart, and that too at rock-bottom prices. They are said to go on sale next week with the estimated release date of 5th August. However, you can pre-book two models of the powerbanks – 10400mAh for Rs. 999 and 5200mAh for Rs. 799 available on the retailer website.

 

Being Xiaomi’s exclusive partner in India, Flipkart is the only online website selling the powerbanks officially through the company. It is also said that the pre-order wouldn’t require any registration since the products are considered to fall into the “accessories†category. Therefore, they’ll be available for sale directly to the customers.

 

In addition to supporting all Mi smartphones and tablets, The Xioami power banks will also support a gamut of other devices including HTC, Apple, Blackberry and Google. Moreover, hand held gaming devices and digital cameras will also be supported. It can recharge the Mi 3 for 2.5 full charges, iPhone 5S for 4.5 full charges and the iPad Mini for 1.5 charges.

 

The 10400mAh power bank has an aluminum casing that surrounds the dual battery cell technology developed by LG and Samsung covering from the end to end. It has a smooth metallic finish with elegant curves where each piece is formed by precision CNC digital cutting.
